Global warming affects arbor day in Korea
"Korea federation for environmental movement(KFEM) organized a event for planting trees. 2.4 degrees rised in Seoul during a century and it also affects when we plant a tree. Now Korean have to plant trees 8 days earlier than past because of the temperature rise. KFEM says that deforestation caused global warming and warmer climate affects the forest ecosystem back. 'Global warming arbor day' was held on 27 March and over 100 volunteers planted 200 Korean pine trees on Bukhansan National park. Arirang Today reports the news."
